Welcome!

Welcome to the year of the wild and the free. Mrs. Troyer and I are excited to be the lead learners in the Galaxy.

I'm experimenting with using this blog as a means of documenting what we're learning, publishing student writings, and keeping everyone up to date with our busy schedule.

I'll begin by reminding students and parents to visit the classroom on either Monday, August 20 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm or Tuesday morning, August 21 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. We have some new things to explore but have kept plenty of the familiar items allowing the students to return to a comfortable, secure environment.

This is the schedule for our 1st week.

Monday: XC practice 9:00 am. Hollowell track.
Monday and Tuesday: classroom visits (see above)
Wednesday - Friday: 1/2 days, 8:00 am - 12:00 noon
Friday: XC practice after school followed by pizza at Hill and Holler.

Please take a minute to introduce yourself (parents and students) in the comments below. I can't wait to get to know everyone better!

Mrs. J

  2. Hi! I'm Rachel Church, Jada's Mom. This is Jada's first year at the Episcopal School and we are both very excited to get started! We love the culture and environment that we have experienced since being introduced to the school and feel this change will allow Jada to grow!
